How we help The Woodard Secondary School The Woodard Langalanga Secondary School The Woodard Langalanga Secondary School was established in memory of Nathanial Woodard as part of the 200th Anniversary of the birth of the Founder. It is located in Langalanga, a relatively deprived town in the Rift Valley. The Woodard Corporation Construction started in 2011 funded and managed by the Kariandusi School Trust (KST) in collaboration with the Woodard Corporation, who generously donated over £250,000. The doors opened to pupils in 2012 and it is now operating at full capacity with over 500 students. The school makes a huge difference to the local community, who otherwise would not have access to such a wonderful facility. Further background is available here: woodard.co.uk, but the core areas of need remain funding for: Teacher hours to fund extra and remedial classes. Furniture and compute equipment for an IT room. A large photocopier. Science equipment. An expansion of extracurricular activity to enable drama and music. The ability to offer awards to recognise excellence in students and teachers.
